Changes, newest first. We write down what you can see in the work, not the fixes under the bonnet. Basteo is built inside a workshop, so everything on this list first landed on a desk in the workshop, and only then here.
Names for the edges of a piece. Every edge has its own name, and hovering over it highlights it on the drawing. It is easier to tell the pattern cutter which edge you mean.
Seam detection. The program looks for the edges that are meant to meet and hands you a list to confirm. On the velour trousers it found 13 candidates and unticked the mirrored legs by itself.
A parametric block from grading rules, with no AI. A pattern imported from Gemini CAD becomes a block driven by formulas. On the velour trousers the match came out 40 out of 40 piece × size pairs, within 1 mm.
Internal lines in blocks. Darts, pockets and guide lines now travel through to the PDF, the DXF, the plotter and the marker.
Matching an imported pattern. The program compares the block against the CAD original, adjusts the variables itself, and an overlay on the preview shows where a difference is left.
Sizes in Pattern and in the piece editor, a 1 mm step, PLT and DXF export with the size recorded.
Polish names throughout Pattern and Blocks — variables, edges and messages.
Contracts with an electronic signature. The client signs with a code from an SMS or after scanning a QR code.
Garment modules and style recognition from a photo. Company details are filled in from the public registers.
